What is this?
Three Word Revue is a book review site with one rule: every review is exactly three words. No stars. No essays. Three words, chosen well, say more than five paragraphs of throat-clearing — and they're a lot more fun to write.
House rules
- Exactly three words. Not two. Not four. The constraint is the game.
- Letters and apostrophes; one hyphen per word at most. Made-up words encouraged.
- Review any book as many times as your wit allows (within reason — there's a daily limit).
- Reading is free, always. Posting takes a free account with a verified email.
The cards
Every review becomes a share card — the three words, the cover, and a short link. Post it in the group chat, dare your friends to do better. That's how most people end up here.
